Meet Tim (a.ka., Big Buddy and Big Yellow), our gentle giant. This friendly soul is lean at 95 pounds. Tim's large size and jowls lead us to believe that he might be part bloodhound.
We adopted Tim in February, 2008. A stray from Bakersfield, California, Tim was rescued by our friends at Golden Gate Labrador Rescue. When Golden Gate Labrador Rescue found Tim, they learned that the dog shelter planned to euthanize him because at 7-8 years old, they considered him "too old to adopt." To the contrary, Tim is an incredibly sweet guy and a wonderful addition to our family. We love him!
