| Regional Central California Labrador Retriever Rescue (CCLRR): This hard-working organization grew out of a need to find loving homes for abused, abandoned, or unwanted Labrador Retrievers in the Central Valley. Founded in 1998, CCLRR is an all volunteer organization. Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue: Begun in 1998, this nonprofit organization uses all the money it earns to rehabilitate and find homes for Labrador Retrievers, and to educate the public about these wonderful dogs. Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. (LRR): Established in 1988, LRR is a nonprofit organization dedicated to placing purebred Labrador Retrievers in loving permanent homes. LRR serves New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Maine, and parts of Massachusetts. Midwest Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. (MLRR): This all volunteer, nonprofit organization is dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for unwanted or abandoned Labrador Retrievers. All rescued Labs are placed in foster homes where they are evaluated for temperament and level of training before being adopted. MLRR serves northern and northwestern Chicagoland city and nearby suburbs. Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue (DLRR): This all-volunteer, nonprofit rescue organization provides medical care and/or rehabilitation for displaced Labrador Retrievers and then attempts to match them with appropriate, permanent homes. DLRR serves Phoenix and most areas of Arizona. Long Island Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc.: LILRR is dedicated to securing the welfare of abandoned and unwanted purebred Labrador Retrievers and to orchestrating responsible adoptions for them. This hard-working all-volunteer organization advocates neuter/spay of pets, and educates toward responsible and lifetime pet stewardship. Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida, Inc (LRROF): Their motto is: "saving Labrador Retrievers throughout Florida one dog at a time." This non-profit organization is dedicated in rescuing and placing Labrador Retrievers in loving homes. Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc.: Started in 1997, Brookline is a nonprofit volunteer Lab rescue organization serving areas of Pennsylvania and New Jersey Heart of Texas Lab Rescue: Based in Austin, Texas, this nonprofit, all-volunteer organization is dedicated to rescuing Labrador Retrievers from shelters, pounds, abandonment , and other situations, and placing them in loving, caring homes. Coastal South Carolina Labrador Retriever Club (CSCLRC): Based in Johns Island, South Carolina, the CSCLRC encourages and promotes quality in the breeding of purebred Labrador Retrievers, and strives to educate, protect, and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials, and hunting tests. |
